Areas of Opportunity:

CET (Comcast Enterprise Technology)

In CET, you’ll team with other IT and computing professionals to design the Comcast systems that run smoothly, speedily and seamlessly. 24-7. Imagine joining a brain trust of incredible innovations, solutions and ingenuity. Your insights will be utilized heavily during early modeling and simulation. That means working closely with both hardware and software engineers to develop and debug many functional aspects of what we offer.

Using your software development or IP networking skills, you’ll design, develop and possibly define the next generation of user experiences for our Internet, cable TV, video and phone services. You could write and test code to improve customer service, help create a network that enhances the speed of our services, drive innovation through Service Oriented Architecture, or follow a project from initial concept to final deployment in Solutions and Initiation Management. And if you’re an internet-savvy professional, you could join a team that brings new web applications, web services and faster speeds to our customers.

As part of CET, you’ll represent a critical hub of expertise, supporting our business opportunities through superior internal and external customer interface. Your enterprise-wide systems will actually be used by Comcast employees every day. CET delivers outcomes that enable every user to take advantage of the latest technology. NE&TO (National Engineering & Technical Operations)

At NE&TO, you’re in charge of “the network,” as well as all the products, systems, software and applications that run within that network. We’re responsible for the engineering and network operations for our cable video, high-speed Internet and voice services (essentially, all of Comcast’s technical infrastructure). Come support the system that facilitates almost 15+ million On Demand views, 76+ million emails and 173+ million web page views daily.

Our end-to-end network infrastructure is something to behold. The principle components of this network include The Backbone, The CRANs (Converged Regional Area Networks) and The HFC Network (Hybrid Fiber Coax). As part of our team, these terms will be part of your daily lingo. All of these elements combine and comprise the world’s largest 40G network. At NE&TO, you’re working to make this network even better--innovating, improving and accelerating all the while.
